Company Profile: Female empowerment is the driving force behind WAYAWAYA. They are determined to create formal employment for Zambian women without a formal education. The women they identify undertake a two-year training program before working alongside a core member of the WAYAWAYA team, where they are able to further hone their skills, with some continuing on as full-time employees. The beautiful leather goods WAYAWAYA and these women create will support further female empowerment, uplifting the communities in which they live.
